Product Engineer

Problem solvers who use technology to create business impact. They combine technical skill with product thinking, and understand a problem deeply before they build.

What you’ll do

  • Own a problem end to end: understand it deeply, then build the smallest thing that solves it, in production where it matters.
  • Direct AI to implement and own the output: right structure, readable, maintainable, not just working.
  • Ship small and safe: pull requests behind flags, instrumented and watched; mitigate before you investigate.
  • Sit in the room when the solution is defined; your green light is what lets Build start.
  • Own production, not just the pull request.

What we look for

  • Product thinking and impact. You start from “what problem are we solving?” and measure success by the outcome, not the lines of code.
  • Full-stack range. Comfortable across the stack, you value breadth and learn whatever the problem needs.
  • Critical thinking. You question assumptions, dig into the problem space, and weigh tradeoffs against business context.
  • Ownership. You take problems end to end, and you own production, not just the pull request.
  • Growth mindset. You treat technology as a means to an end, and enjoy working across the organization to get there.

The ladder

One trunk to Lead, each rung defined by how much ambiguity you take on, then a fork: deepen as an engineer (IC) or lead people. We hire at every level and apprentice people up. Pick a level to see what it expects.

How we hire

One short take-home, then one conversation. We move fast and tell you either way.

  1. Apply. Send a CV and links to things you have built, anything real.
  2. A short take-home. A small, real problem. Use any tools, including AI. We care how you think, not a perfect answer.
  3. One conversation. Forty-five to sixty minutes walking your solution together, pushing on it.
