HR Consultant

HR consultants carry the domain expertise behind Interwise, our Indonesian HR and payroll platform. Payroll here is unforgiving: PPh 21, BPJS, overtime, and labor law have to be right to the rupiah, every month. A consulting track built like BCG or McKinsey, focused on one industry. You get a business off spreadsheets and outside agencies, onto payroll that runs correct and compliant, then encode what you learn back into the product so it holds for the next client without you.

What you’ll do

  • Own client outcomes end to end: take a business off spreadsheets and agencies, onto Interwise, with payroll that reconciles from the first run.
  • Master Indonesian HR and payroll: PPh 21 (TER and annualization), BPJS, overtime, and labor law, applied to messy real situations, not textbook ones.
  • Model the mess: turn a tangled setup into a clear model, a migration plan, and the numbers that prove it reconciles.
  • Feed the expertise back into the product: your domain judgment is what lets Interwise stand in for the consultant, so hand it to the team.
  • Sit with clients: run the working sessions, and write the update that gives their leadership full visibility in two minutes.

What we look for

  • Critical thinking. You start from the real problem and structure the ambiguity, rather than reaching for a template.
  • Honesty and ownership. You own the client outcome end to end, and you raise a problem early with what you have tried, not after it lands in payroll.
  • HR and payroll domain. Depth in Indonesian compliance is a strong plus. We apprentice analysts up, so the drive to learn it fast counts as much.
  • Rigor. Payroll is unforgiving. You check the numbers, and they reconcile.
  • A problem solver, not a tool operator. You reason to the right answer whatever the tooling, and you direct AI and check its work rather than lean on it.
